The weekend closed with a full tailgate cookout, tents up and music rolling, funded entirely out of pocket by the founding board. Alumni showed up in force, proving the idea didn’t need polish to work — it just needed a place for Knights to gather. That afternoon became the spark for everything that followed, from the first scholarship to the Collective’s formal launch.
